About Us

Established in April of 2000, the Blackfoot Angler & Supplies, in the easy-paced town of Ovando, Montana, provides all those necessary items and assists anglers in fishing the Blackfoot river and its surrounding lakes and tributaries. We're close to Brown's Lake, Upsata Lake, Cooper's Lake, Missouri River, Clearwater River and numerous other rivers and tributaries within easy driving distance.

Owned by Travis Thurmond and Kathy Schoendoerfer, the Blackfoot Angler is located off Highway 200 between Lincoln and Clearwater Junction, 60 miles from the metropolis of Missoula. It is situated amongst popular wade and float sites and boasts of the best fly selection between Great Falls, Helena and Missoula.
